Developing your Writing Style (Evocation and Show, Don’t Tell) – Workshop

Yesterday a workshop was held on some of the key aspects of developing and using an adept style of writing. There are many elements that go towards this, but in this workshop we concentrated on ‘Show, Don’t Tell’ and ‘Evocation.’

The workshop went well and feedback has been great. Aside from the technical aspects of discussion in the session, it’s a great opportunity for writers to meet and share their own knowledge and point of view on how to write engaging fiction that has a proficient style.

Whether it be fiction or non-fiction you must engage with your audience or those who are reading your work and being aware of how to do this and cultivate your writing allows for connection to flow without hindrance.
