This fun and informative creative writing workshop will take place a few days before Halloween, perfect for penning an original dark, spooky and/or strange masterpiece!

In this workshop, we will look at a number of examples of DARK FAIRY TALES, both modern and classic, and talk about what makes them work. We will then work through various prompts and exercises intended to help you build your own twisted tale. This workshop is perfect for writers of all levels of experience, and it is ideal for those who wish to try their hand at writing dark, strange and suspenseful fiction.

Come ready with a notebook, pen, computer, whatever you prefer to write with — and a willingness to play and explore! All levels welcome, beginner to advanced. Perfect for anyone who is battling writers block or is finding it difficult to find the time and energy to be creative.
