This writing workshop is for writers of all levels of experience who are interested in fiction (short stories, novels, screenplays, etc.). We will be exploring various methods of generating ideas and tapping into your creativity. The tools used will include freewriting, visual prompts, randomizers (i.e. story cubes) and more.
Throughout the day, the activities will build on each other so that when you leave you should have plenty of material to work with on your own if you wish. You will also have lots of new tricks and strategies that you can use in the future if you get creatively stuck or are searching for new ideas.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who is looking to start a new project, is battling writers block, or simply wants to explore their creative side (you don’t have to be an experienced writer to join! beginners are more than welcome!)
Come with a notebook, pen, computer, whatever you prefer to write with — and a willingness to play and explore!
Spaces are limited so please only RSVP if you can make it. If something comes up, no prob! Just change your RSVP so someone else can have your space.
We will be in the function room in the back of Artisan Coffee in Ealing Broadway.
